Intelius has is one of the best in the industry when it comes to user friendliness. The site is simple and easy to use. With intuitive navigation and plenty of help features, making the search and purchase of a background check report easy. They even have a review process that enables a user to ensure they are accessing the correct reports. The biggest advantage of Intelius is that the make there reports viewable immediately following a purchase. This convenience factor is a big bonus.
The basic background report returns a number of valuable pieces of data. This includes full name, date of birth, relatives, average income, criminal check, liens, aliases, neighbors, marriage records, address history, phone numbers, property, bankruptcies, judgments, lawsuits, death records and divorce. Many other types of reports are available including reverse phone lookup, people search, email search criminal and sex offender, identity protection, employee and tenant screening and much more. Intelius even offers a date check report which is available on many mobile devices as well.

Instant Criminal Background Check. Search for criminal records including felony, misdemeanor, sex offender & county offense records.
Being an HR director our company uses Intelius for our new hires. They offer background checks, many types of record searches, and have the great ability to find criminal history. We have had great success filtering out those with shady backgrounds. My experience with the customer service at Intelius has be good but I have heard about others having problems. While the prices are competitive they may seem a bit on the pricey side, but the data is the most up to date around. We have used other resources for our background checks but none have been as comprehensive. Seems you get what you pay for. That is my two cents.
I have a degree in Criminology and find it prudent to do background checks occasionally for business reasons, as well as I have 4 daughters. I have used Intelius twice and came up with NOTHING for a $49.95 “extensive” background check fee. In both cases, it did not even tell me what I already knew. It did not have an address history and no current address. The individual has had 3 convictions that I know of- I even know the date of the last conviction and Intelius came up with NO criminal records, no marriage/divorce history (which also exists), no civil judgement re: child support (which I have information regarding). I am trying to protect a close relative here. Intelius is a rip-off. For $50, I got an old address.
I agree with Sheryl. Intelius did not even tell me what I already knew. Simple public records that I found at the county courthouse were conspicuously missing. I suspect Georgia isn’t even aware of the information she is missing as she understandably would not have the time to double check the information she receives from Intelius. I hope none of her hires comes back to bite her because of the lack of background info from Intelius. BTW…don’t ask them for a refund. That, like information, will not be forthcoming.
